Preservation Plans for Future Generations
Various plans have been formulated to preserve the World Heritage Site of
the Sacred Island of Okinoshima and Associated Sites in the Munakata Region for future generations.
The Preservation and Utilization Council will preserve and manage the OUV based on a comprehensive preservation
and management plan, and will explain the value of the property to the public.

Initiative of Heritage Impact Assessmentss
Heritage Impact Assessments are a tool used by people engaged in development and other activities
to help them objectively evaluate impacts on heritage and promote consensus among stakeholders.
For this purpose, the Heritage Impact Assessment Manual was formulated.
